Chapter 8 Be My Woman
"...shadow..." The old man glared at the boy with a sideways glance.
What a feeling! The only word I can use to describe my current feeling is "bad"! I was watching the basketball game and having a good time, but suddenly I was brought to this place. I shouted at the boy in front of me, "I don't want to be any prince's consort, I just want to go back to our college!"
"How dare you! Speaking to His Highness the Crown Prince like that." a high-ranking official bellowed at me.
I snorted in disdain, what did you expect!
"You all withdraw first! I want to be alone with the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess."
"Yes, Your Imperial Majesty!"
The old man waved his hand, and the ministers quickly retreated from the hall. The cold-blooded young man glanced at me and followed them out. The entire grand hall was left with only me, the Emperor Emeritus, and that self-righteous Crown Prince.
"Thank you for saving the prince. Without you, there would be no crown prince. So I've made a decision - let you marry Ying. What do you think?"
As soon as I heard it, my face turned green, and I hastily pushed back: "Your Majesty, I cannot become the Crown Princess. Please withdraw your previous words."
"Just as I had hoped! Emperor Grandfather, forgive me for taking my leave first." The demonically charming young man threw down this sentence and strode away.
"Don't you like Ying'er?" the old man asked.
I just saw him once before and couldn't have a liking for him, I honestly replied: "Don't like!"
"Don't like his face or don't like his personality?"
The old man suddenly asked this sentence, and I didn't know how to answer.
Although that self-conceited crown prince is charming, his temper and personality are really not worthy of admiration. Having only met him once, I feel he's quite frivolous and self-conceited. If I were to become the crown princess, wouldn't that be like throwing myself into a fire pit? No way, I still prefer gentle types of guys, for example Mu Yan, just thinking about him makes my heart skip a beat.
"I don't like either of them." I replied honestly.
"Don't you like either of them? Why?" The old man seemed a bit curious.
"To be exact, there are three reasons." I raised my fingers to list them out. "Firstly, his face is really too pretty; secondly, his personality is too frivolous and self-important; thirdly, there are many people who want to be his wife, so it's not like they need me."
