Chapter Thirty-Three: Transfer
The army stayed in his bedroom for over an hour, watching the outside gradually darken, feeling a bit sad, but with an empty stomach, no matter how sad he was, he couldn't withstand the pangs of hunger, so he left his bedroom.
The navy remained in its original posture on the sofa in the living room, thinking about its own problems.
The army looked up at the person, automatically ignoring his existence. Although she's not as angry as before, it doesn't mean she's forgiven him yet. To be honest, thinking about facing that instructor tomorrow makes her hair stand on end. It's like, even if she were in their shoes, she wouldn't like herself either. After all, she still understands the principle of "don't do to others what you don't want done to yourself".
He went to the kitchen and took out the leftover noodles and eggs from two days ago. There isn't even any cabbage at home now, so he'll just have to make do with egg noodles! Lu Jun comforted himself in his heart.
The navy saw someone treating himself as air, in that busy figure, with a warm feeling in his heart! His own heart was also looking forward to the warmth of that person, so he went to the dinner table and said with a rare smile on his face, using what he thought was a particularly gentle voice: "Army, I saw you sleeping very soundly at noon today, so I didn't wake you up."
The army was staring blankly at the noodle pot when a sudden voice startled her, and she patted her heart, only to realize that he was explaining himself. But is this reason enough? Every time he wasn't shaking his own collar to wake himself up, the sudden gentleness made her feel unbelievable, even more unbelievable.
The navy clearly saw the figure's tremble and understood that his sudden words were hard to swallow, let alone believe, so he emphasized: "I'm telling the truth."
The army then turned around and looked at him, carefully observing the expression on his face, as if it was really sincere, and even wore a smile, so he put down his original anger. In fact, she was entangled in the bedroom just because he didn't wake herself up. Now that he explained, she nodded to him, indicating that she believed him.
The army nodded slightly, making the navy feel hopeful and very satisfied in his heart. "You're not angry, that's good."
The army suddenly felt that this man was a bit too much, he had already nodded to indicate that he wasn't angry anymore, yet he still came out with such a sentence, wasn't he intentionally trying to make things unpleasant for others?
The navy also realized this, but the words had already been spoken, so they quickly changed the subject. "You don't like being a soldier, do you?"
The army found it laughable, this person is absolutely abnormal today, the problem is too obvious, if you like to be a soldier, would you be brought here by your family's old man like human trafficking?
But since they care so much, it doesn't seem right not to answer, so she lightly says, "I don't like it."
"Why?" Hai Jun was somewhat puzzled, he had always dreamed of being a soldier since childhood and thought it was glorious and heroic!
"I like freedom, not the constraints of the army." Lu Jun said calmly. She has always wanted to live a free and easy life, engaging in her favorite painting career. Even if she can't become a painter, she is unwilling to be bound by the army. She can say that she has been living in the army for a long time, familiar with it, but also feeling a bit tired of it. She wants to go outside and breathe some fresh air, experience life outside!
"It's really like this!" The navy sighed and then looked at her carefully again, "What are you going to do next?"
"What's the plan?" Lu Jun was somewhat perplexed. "For now, we can only take it one step at a time. I didn't expect to be stuck in the troops before finding a solution."
The navy thought she was clever, so that the person supervising her would be paralyzed and think about her next move. "Do you always want to train with new recruits?"
The army heard this and burst out laughing. "Battalion commander, aren't all my matters arranged by you? I don't want to train, but isn't the troops not raising idle people?"
The navy was so happy to say that, "Oh yeah, look at my memory." He patted his own head and said, "If I arrange you to another place, are you willing?"
"Somewhere else? Where?" The army came curiously beside the navy, his eyes fixed tightly on him.
"Are you willing or unwilling?" The navy intentionally teased her and suddenly found that the conversation between the two people made him very comfortable.
"You speak first, I can't promise anything rashly. What if you send me to an even more distant place? I've only just gotten used to it here and don't want to move again. Besides, if I stay here and one day my family's old master changes his mind and wants to take me back, won't I be at a great loss?" Lu Jun spoke with great logic, his mind racing quickly.
"Brilliant!" The naval officer exclaimed, "What do you think of the archive room and secretary's office in the troops?"
The army opened his eyes wide and said, "Battalion commander, you didn't tell me to go to those two places, did you?"
"How come you don't want to go to either of those two places?" Hai Jun guessed and said.
The army was somewhat skeptical of their good fortune, skipping training and directly jumping into work, "Battalion Commander, are you kidding me?"
"Do you think so?" The navy asked with a smile at the corner of his mouth.
The army shook his head, so he was just dreaming, and then pinched himself hard, didn't feel any pain, and said dully: "It's really a dream, it doesn't hurt at all."
The naval officer looked at the hand that was messing with his arm with a headache, "Don't you feel any pain?"
"That's right!"
"But I felt it." The navy grabbed her hand and gently placed it on the table, then rubbed the spot where she had pinched him.
The army reacted, "Sorry, Captain, I didn't mean to! Please don't change your mind." As he said that, he helped him rub his arm.
"Do I look like the kind of person who changes their mind?"
The army nodded in her heart, it's so alike! But in reality, she shook her head actively, "Not alike! Battalion commander, are you really going to transfer me to a different position?"
"Uh-huh!" The naval officer said affirmatively, he really didn't want to see her get hurt again during training, nor did he want to watch her become more and more masculine. He liked the way she was now! Of course, he wouldn't say these words to her!
Digression
Where will the army go?
Jun is looking forward to it!
