Fifteen. The Seal of Respect
Chapter 15: The Seal of Zun
A fleeting shadow, and in an instant the scene before her eyes changed again. Before her was once more that purple gauze, floating gently in the breeze.
At this time, the purple gauze seemed to come alive and slowly rotated, in an instant, as if the entire stone chamber was spinning. The purple gauze spun faster and faster, almost flashing by, and the connected seams and marks could no longer be seen.
He gazed vigilantly at the layers of revolving purple gauze. Damn it! With a dagger in his hand, he swiftly stabbed outwards in all directions, as fast as lightning, and only saw a few flashes of light. The layers of gauze curtains in front of him broke one by one, flying everywhere.
More purple gauze came rushing towards her, rapidly swirling around her without stopping. As the gauze spun faster and faster, it wrapped tighter and tighter, inch by inch spiraling inward and upward. With each rotation, the purple gauze contracted a circle.
Like a heavenly net, layer upon layer of encirclement surrounded her, and the space for activity was getting smaller and smaller. She kept thinking, her rotating eyes calmly searching for weaknesses in the mesh. Right, she looked up at the top, quickly grabbed one of the rotating meshes, borrowed power to fly upwards, and the dagger was fiercely swinging.
"With a 'pop' sound, the silken canopy burst open like a cocoon, and the purple silk threads fell in all directions like brilliant fireworks."
Under the soft glow of the night pearl, this stone room was even more shrouded in a mysterious and ominous atmosphere. She looked vigilantly ahead, moving forward step by slow step.
In front of her eyes, another flash, only to see He Yan Ye smiling elegantly, his deep eyes full of deep affection looking at her. "Ruoxi darling! I miss you so much!" He gently opened his arms. "Ruoxi darling! Come into my arms."
She stopped in her tracks, curled up her lips and looked at him coldly. To use the same trick on someone twice, wouldn't it be stupid to fall for it again?
Without hesitation, she stabbed the dagger at him. The shadow flickered again, and before her eyes appeared a treasure trove of gold, silver, and jewels. "Childish!" She didn't even give it a glance, continuing to walk forward. The shadow flickered once more, and before her eyes was that piece of silk gauze again.
A young man with green hair slowly appeared before her eyes, his eyes were as clear as crystals soaked in water, and the corners of his eyes were slightly raised, making him look charming. The pure green pupils and the enchanting eye shape blended together to form an extremely beautiful temperament. His long green hair fell behind his snow-white neck, and it could be described as being so beautiful that it seemed to drip with charm.
He pouted, looking at her with a sorrowful gaze. "Hey! Don't go, okay?" He had been lonely here for over 10,000 years, and now that she was finally here, how could he let her leave so easily?
The word "fairy" flashed through her mind as she saw him. She gave him a cold look, it seemed that this fairy was behind all the trouble, and walked past him to continue on her way.
Seeing her ignore him, he hastily ran in front of her and waved his hand vigorously before her eyes. "Hey! Do you see me?"
She glared at him and said irritably: "You've seen it, so what? You haven't seen it, so what?"
He scratched his head, looking at her pitifully. "Uh... don't go, it's been a long time since someone played with me." Ordinary people can't get here because the surroundings are sealed off. Others can't come in and he can't go out either.
"Not interested, go find someone else." She walked forward without looking back.
He caught up with her, holding her hand. "Then take me away, okay? I've been stuck here for over 10,000 years and I'm almost moldy." Since she could break the seal and come in, she must be able to take him out, he thought excitedly, but was thoroughly sent to hell by her next sentence.
She coldly glanced at him, "What's it to me?" She didn't even bother to care about him, this dead lecher, who had just used her beloved mother to tease her. Now he was putting on a pitiful face, sticking to her like caramel.
He rotated his green eyes, with a hint of curiosity. "What is cowhide sugar?" This was the first time he had heard of it.
How did he know what I was thinking? Damn ghost! She hated it most when others probed into her mind.
Her cold eyes glared at him fiercely, and she continued walking forward, wanting to leave this damned place.
She stared at him inexplicably, but no matter what, he couldn't let her leave, unless she took him with her, and he had had enough of this place for ten thousand years.
He rushed forward and grabbed her hand. "Take me with you, okay?" He seemed to have a tendency that if he didn't take him away, he wouldn't let her go, so he followed closely behind her.
She tried hard to shake off his hand, but he grasped it tightly. "Let go!" She frowned, looking at him displeasedly.
The rascal smiled and shook his head, "No way!" unless she agreed to his request.
Damn it! This annoying sticky person. "Speak up! Who are you? How did you end up here." She let out a helpless sigh.
His eyes sparkled with excitement, yeah! There's a play! "I'm Zun, I lost a bet to humans and was locked up here." He muttered to himself, it couldn't be said that he was locked up for peeking at her bath 10,000 years ago and being discovered by her guardian deity. "He said unless someone can break the seal and come in, I won't be able to leave."
She nodded understandingly, "Isn't the seal released now? Why don't you go out?"
He scratched his head, looking at her hesitantly saying, "That... I've already made a blood pact with you, so I'm yours, you have to take responsibility for me." The words behind this he said with an air of righteousness, isn't this reason enough?
Blood contract? "When did I ever make a blood contract with you?" Right, he had just cut her wrist with his finger, and the dead demon didn't even ask for her consent. Geng Xiao You was somewhat angry, glaring at him furiously.
He smiled complacently. "Now you should take me away, right?" "So you're my master, and from now on I'll follow you wherever you go." Anyway, he had made up his mind to rely on her.
She raised a cold smile. "Is that so? I've heard the master of the blood contract can dissolve it at any time." Want to bully her? Hmph!
No good! How did she know? He hastily put on a flattering smile, "Master, have mercy! Just pity me and take me with you! I absolutely won't let you down, really! My skills are great. Don't believe me? Look!" His hand opened and closed, the night pearls on the wall instantly turned into smoke.
She rotated her bright eyes, thinking carefully. Maybe this was also a good choice. "Okay! Follow me out first. If you do something that makes me unhappy, I will cancel the blood contract with you at any time." She hooked up a shallow smile and walked forward.
He nodded obediently, happily following behind her, raising his hand to guarantee: "Master, I will be very obedient and absolutely won't do anything that would make Master unhappy. From now on, if Master says go east, I..."
She stopped in her tracks, furious and shouting: "Shut up! And don't call me master." This demon was like Tang Seng, going on and on without end, and she couldn't help but feel some regret, considering whether or not to take him out.
Feeling a ripple in her heart, he couldn't help but get anxious, pitifully blinking his watery green eyes. "Then I'll call you Yōko from now on? As long as you don't abandon me, anything is fine."
The dead fairy, again peeking into her soul. She warned him with a glance. He looked like an aggrieved little daughter-in-law, "Actually, I didn't mean to snoop. Because of the blood contract, our hearts are now connected, it's just that you don't know how to use it yet."
Her delicate eyebrows furrowed, and a hint of mysterious light flashed across the bottom of her clear black-and-white eyes. "Isn't that you knowing everything I think?" Then wouldn't she become a piece of glass in front of him, transparent from inside to out?
"No." He shook his head desperately, as if afraid she wouldn't believe him. "Actually, all you need to do is use your divine sense to shut down my Heart Platform."
She raised an eyebrow, her sparkling eyes showing a hint of interest. "How to close it?" This was somewhat interesting, she had never heard of it before.
"Close your eyes." She did as she was told, closing her eyes and using her mind to search for the spiritual light source. His low voice came again from beside her ear. "Do you see a glimmer of light?" A faint, almost imperceptible glow appeared in front of her.
"See? Now you can control it with your divine sense and close it." The light rotated a few times, slowly dimming. She slowly opened her eyes, a faint smile playing on the corners of her mouth.
He happily walked forward and grabbed her hand. "You're amazing! I'm leaving." He couldn't wait to get out of this haunted place.
She tried to shake off his hand, but couldn't. Irritated, she gave him a sideways glance. "Stop dragging your feet, let's go." This sticky person just wouldn't give up.
He pouted with a look of grievance on his face. "You, are you bullying me?" He looked at her with a pitiful gaze, like a small dog that was about to be abandoned.
A helpless shake of her head, perhaps due to the blood contract, her heart slightly stirred. Forget it, let him pull if he wants to. She continued walking forward.
Yes! I won! Zun beamed with a victorious smile and happily pulled her hand.
Two people walked forward slowly, and it got darker as they went further. The shadows of the night pearls on both sides of the passage had disappeared, and a piece of darkness was restored.
Geng Xiao Yu had just thought of taking out the flashlight from his luggage, when suddenly a bright light appeared before his eyes. He saw Zun with a delighted smile on his face, holding a cluster of cyan flames in his hand. "Yu, look! Isn't this 'Qing Ling Yan' beautiful?"
Dead fairy, bullying her has no fire, right? She "cut!" and continued to walk forward, anyway, there's a free light bulb shining on her, why not be happy about it?
He trotted along, holding her hand tightly behind her. "Jealous?" A hint of provocation in his clear eyes. "Actually, you don't have to be jealous, you can too."
Really? She stopped in her tracks and looked at him suspiciously.
He puffed out his chest, a smug look on his face. "Of course! How could I possibly cheat you? After our blood contract, my power is your power, and you can use it at any time." A skeptical expression that seemed to say "if you don't believe me, just try it". "Just close your eyes like before and control it with your divine sense."
She closed her eyes and slowly mobilized her divine sense. After a long time, Poof! A thread of cyan flame appeared on her hand, but it went out in an instant. She tried again several times, and the flame gradually grew larger, lasting longer each time.
The dark pupils shone with bright light, accompanied by a satisfied smile, and extinguished the flames on his hand. "Let's go!" Since there is a free one, why bother to take care of yourself.
A gentle breeze caressed their cheeks, and a faint light appeared before them, which was sunlight. Zun extinguished the flames in his hand and smiled radiantly, making his already handsome face even more captivating. Having been sealed away for over 10,000 years, he had not seen sunlight in a long time and truly looked forward to seeing the outside world.
