Nineteen Revenge

  Nineteen. Revenge

  Chapter 19: Revenge

The sky is layered with dark clouds, and strong winds are blowing. A heavy rain seems about to start...

He Yan's icy eyes stared at the distant villa with a sharp gaze. Apart from him and a few high-ranking officials of Feng Ye, no one would have thought that this ordinary-looking villa was actually the lair of Feng Ye.

A dozen or so big men in all-black attire, each as agile as a black leopard, flipped over the wall one by one.

Bodyguards in groups of three or five, one batch after another, constantly patrolling around. Men in black holding silencer guns, moving swiftly like lightning.

The patrolling bodyguard Zhang Jin suddenly found a black shadow flashing in front of him, and he quickly stopped his footsteps, calling out to the team leader Wang Si. "Head, do you see if there's someone over there?" He pointed behind the bushes with a tense face.

Wang Si stopped in his tracks and looked in the direction Zhang Jin was pointing. Except for seeing the branches swaying in the wind, he didn't see anything else. He turned around and slapped Zhang Jin's head angrily. "What person? You little brat must be seeing things! Did you sneak out again yesterday?"

"Not at all, my wife has been keeping a close eye on me lately, I don't have time to go out!" Zhang Jin complained while rubbing his head. He looked at the thicket with a puzzled face, just now he clearly saw someone, could it be that he really had blurred vision?

"Alright, let's continue with the patrol. Everyone be careful! The boss has been in a bad mood lately, you know?" He warned the crowd with a serious face.

"Yes!" A group of people continued to march forward in unison.

He Yan's lips curled up in a cold smile, and he raised his hand to make a killing gesture towards the black-clad man beside him. A group of well-trained black-clad men quickly dispersed in all directions.

Wang Si heard a few muffled sounds coming from the back, like someone had fallen to the ground. What were these little brats up to again? He turned around in anger, wanting to scold them.

Only to see Zhang Jin's head had been penetrated by a bullet, fresh blood flowing from his forehead to his cheek. He stared wide-eyed, stuttering: "Head, I... just said... there... is... someone." After finishing speaking, he fell to the ground with a 'thud'.

Wang Si turned around with a terrified face and ran forward, but before he could take two steps, the bullet had already pierced his head. He stared wide-eyed and slowly fell forward.

In the blink of an eye, more than half of the bodyguards in the courtyard had died silently. He Yanye quickly flashed into the house, solved the gatekeeper with lightning speed, and stepped up the stairs cautiously. Step by step, he slowly walked upstairs, shooting his gun, and the patrolling bodyguard outside the corridor hadn't reacted yet, but was already dead.

A cold glint flashed in his eyes as he moved swiftly forward. The sound of footsteps echoed from the end of the corridor again, and he quickly rolled over to take cover. As soon as the man came out, he saw his companion lying on the ground. He rushed over to him, flipped over his body, and saw that the man's face was covered in blood, with no signs of breathing. "Come..." He had only shouted one word when a bullet pierced through his head, his eyes widened, and he fell to the ground with a thud.

These days of constant blows have almost exhausted Zhou Mo, he weakly stared at the ceiling. No matter how hard he tried to rack his brains, he couldn't figure out who was behind it all.

"Knock knock knock!" The door creaked with a knock. "Come in!" Zhou Jin replied with a gloomy face, his tone unpleasant.

The door was slowly pushed open, Zhou Miao looked up at the person who came in, and stood up from his chair with a shocked face. "It's you!"

He Yan Ye Leng smiled coldly. In his ink-colored pupils, a cruel and bloodthirsty glint flashed by. "What? You're so surprised to see me? Are you curious why I didn't die?"

Zhou You didn't disappoint, being a formidable figure who had been through many twists and turns. After a moment of surprise, he quickly calmed down. His mouth curved into a loving smile. "Ye Ye, you're not dead, that's great! Did you know when I heard the news of your death that day, I almost couldn't believe it? I was heartbroken for a long time, fortunately, you're fine, otherwise, I would have blamed myself for the rest of my life." Damn it, unexpectedly, he's still alive.

He Yan Ye's eyes narrowed as he glanced at him, his gaze cold and detached, with a hint of mockery. "Oh! Then why did I hear Mei Xiao say it was you who sent her to kill me?" This old fox was still acting at this time.

A flash of sinister intent flickered across Zhou's eyes, and the smile on his face became even more warm and gentle. "I had no idea, it was her own doing. Afterwards, I also severely punished her."

He Yan Ye's lips curled up, and his black eyes hid a deep hatred. "Stop pretending! I'll tell you, I came here today to take your life."

"Haha...". Zhou Miao laughed loudly, with a murderous intent in his gloomy eyes. Since that's the case, he didn't need to put on an act anymore. "Take my life? That depends on whether you have the ability to do so. Don't forget, I'm the one who taught you everything you know."

He Yanye sneered coldly, looking at him with disdain. "Have you forgotten that there's a saying in the world, 'the blue comes from the indigo plant but is better than the indigo'? Does he think he's still the old He Yanye?"

Zhou Mi's eyes narrowed and he smiled coldly. "I'd like to see how you're better than Lan." He lifted his leg and kicked horizontally at He Yan Ye in front of him.

He Yan Ye dodged nimbly, slightly curling his lips, and swiftly swung his fist towards Zhou Jian's cheek. Zhou Jian bent down to dodge, and again punched out at He Yan Ye. The two of them went back and forth, exchanging over a hundred moves, their faces and bodies covered in bruises.

Wiping away the blood from his mouth, He Yan Ye once again fiercely swung at Zhou Xuan. A heavy punch landed on his chin, sending him flying out and knocking over the tables and chairs on the ground.

He Yan looked at him coldly, without a hint of emotional fluctuation in his eyes. He walked step by step towards Zhou Jin, all the hatred was repressed, but this icy demeanor made people feel even more terrified and fearful.

With a gun pressed against his head, Zhou Jin's eyes were filled with terror. He didn't want to die like this. He still had great dreams he wanted to create, and he wanted to be the king of this world. "Ye Ye, considering our many years of friendship, can you spare my life?" He begged, looking at He Yan Ye.

He Yan Ye smiled coldly and sarcastically, looking at him. "Hehe... don't you think it's funny? Have you forgotten who I am? Assassins have no emotions." He slowly cocked the trigger in his hand.

Zhou Chou closed his eyes in despair, waiting for death to arrive.

"Wait a minute!" A crisp and cold voice came from the doorway, followed by Geng Xiao You and Zun walking in. Behind them were Zhao Yi Mo and Liu Qing Feng.

Originally despairing Zhou Jie heard the voice shouting stop and quickly opened his eyes. He wanted to see clearly who it was that saved him from the hands of death. He stared at the person in front of him, disbelieving, how could it be her? Didn't she die?

He Yan Ye's body stiffened slightly, and he slowly turned around, looking at the person in front of him whom he had been thinking about day and night. His lips trembled, and tears welled up in his eyes.

Geng Xiao's hand was tightly clenched, staring blankly at the man in front of her, Ye! He came back, he really came back.

Four eyes met, as if time had stood still.

Liu Qingfeng gazed at the deep affectionate glances exchanged between the two, and a bitter feeling flowed through his heart. He knew that in her heart, he would never be as important as Ye Chen. However, he loved her, and no matter if she would leave him in the future or not, he would remain by her side without worries or regrets, silently loving her.

Zhao Yimo hooked his lips into a smile, and his dark eyes shone with profound and unfathomable light.

He looked at the two people who were staring at each other with a somewhat depressed expression. Why did another person come to rob him of his solitude again?

Zhou Yan's eyes flashed with a sly light, and the corners of his mouth curled up in a sinister smile. How fortunate for me! He took advantage of He Yan's momentary distraction to quickly snatch the dagger from his hand and press it against his head. "Heh heh... how about that? Didn't expect that in the end, the one who'd die wouldn't be me, but you'd still die because of 'love'." He smiled gloomily, his face full of self-satisfaction.

He pushed against He Yan Ye, step by step moving towards the door. "Get out of my way, or I'll kill him right now." He loudly threatened the crowd.

He Yan Ye's eyes flashed with a hint of regret. However, he did not regret it, at least when he was about to die, he could see her again.

Damn old fox, you think you can escape like this? How dare you use the night to threaten her? I'll make you die a terrible death. Geng Xiao's eyes flashed with cold light, and she sneered, curling up her lips. "Ignorant!" She slightly crooked her finger, and suddenly the gun in Zhou Chou's hand turned into ashes.

He Yan Ye kicked Zhou Jiao heavily onto the wall with a backflip. He looked at Geng Xiao, his eyes filled with slight shock, not expecting that his Ru Xue had become so strong without him realizing it. But no matter how strong she became, he would use all his power to protect her and love her.

Zhou Chou fell heavily to the ground from the wall, spitting out a mouthful of blood. He struggled to get up, staring at Geng Xiao You in disbelief. His hands trembled as he pointed at her, "Impossible... you... how did you... do it!" Was she human or ghost?

Geng Xiao Yu walked step by step towards him, her cold eyes filled with hatred. It was this person who killed her parents, it was this person who designed the poisoning for her, and it was also this person who ruthlessly threw her into the lake.

Zhou Xun's heart was racing and her palms were sweating as she stared at her.

She glared at him fiercely, her mouth slightly curled up. "Scared? Don't worry, I won't kill you." I'll slowly torture you, making you understand what it means to be unable to survive, and not allowed to survive.

When she said she wouldn't kill him, Zhou Jin almost didn't dare believe his ears, he looked at her suspiciously. "You...really...won't kill me?"

She smiled coldly and gazed at him piercingly. "Heh... are you doubting what I said?"

He looked at her with a mixture of fear and trepidation, shaking his head frantically. "No...I don't dare!" How could he have dared to suspect her? She could turn a gun into ashes, let alone him! Now he regretted it, he shouldn't have provoked these two scourges.

She nodded in satisfaction, "Good! Very good! Cut off his tendons, tie him up with chains. I want to cut a piece of flesh from him every day, remember not to let him die, otherwise it's no fun."

"Alright, let's go!" Zun's green eyes sparkled with excitement as he happily agreed.

Zhou Xuan's heart was racing as he stared at her, she wasn't human, she was a demon. It would be better to die than this, he thought of banging his head against the wall, but the wall in front of him had disappeared. He was desperate, finally understanding what it meant to be unable to survive, unable to live.
