Confession
Chapter 7: Confession
Lan Huan Yun was tossing and turning on his bed, unable to sleep. His hand clutched tightly at the front of his clothes, why was his heart so desolate and bleak? He kept thinking about that fleeting figure he saw on the street during the day. She was so familiar, making his heart unable to calm down for a long time. But damn it, he couldn't remember who she was! He always felt that before he lost his memory, there must be someone living deep in his heart. Otherwise, why would there always be a vague shadow in his mind that he couldn't shake off? Although he couldn't grasp or see clearly, but his heart would ache secretly because of her.
"Knock knock knock." A light rapping sound came from the wooden door. It was followed by Hu Xue's slightly shy voice, "Xi Gege, are you asleep?"
What is she doing here so late? "Xiaoxue, let's talk about it tomorrow," he replied calmly. He had originally planned to clear things up with her today, but when he ran into that figure on the street who left an indelible mark on him, he forgot all about it.
The door was silent for a while, just as he thought Hu Xue had left. Her voice rose again, "Xi Gege, can you open the door? I really have something very important to talk to you about." Her voice carried a hint of pleading.
Lan Han Yun reluctantly picked up the coat beside him and put it on, lit the oil lamp beside him, and walked forward to open the door. There stood Hu Xue, wearing thin clothes at the door, with a faint blush on her face. Her watery eyes looked at him timidly. "Xi Gege, can I come in?" She had decided to cook unripe rice into ripe rice, so that she could keep him by her side forever. And not have to worry every moment that he would leave her after recovering his memory. She knew deeply that she was not worthy of him, he was so noble, but she had already fallen deeply in love with him and couldn't extricate herself.
Lan Hanyun didn't respond, and walked into the room on her own. She sat down in a chair to one side, looking puzzled at her. "Xiaoxue, what's so important that it can't wait until tomorrow?"
It won't do, she finally gathered her courage to knock on his door today, how can it be left until tomorrow?
Hu Xue gently closed the door, her bright and clear eyes sparkling like a lost lamb in the woods, gazing at him with a pitiful and helpless expression. Her cheeks flushed with a shy blush. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and mustered up the courage to confess: "Xi Gege, I...I like you." After finishing speaking, her small face turned even redder, her eyes filled with expectation as she looked at him.
Lan Huan Yun's eyebrows furrowed slightly, although he had lost his memory, but he wasn't that kind of person. So he took this opportunity to make things clear with her. "Xiao Xue, I'm sorry. I only regarded you as a younger sister. We are not possible." He coldly rejected her, without considering her feelings at all.
Hu Xue took two steps back, her face suddenly turning deathly pale. "No, Xi Gege, you're deceiving me, I don't believe it." Why did he have to be so cruel, not giving her even a glimmer of hope?
Lan Han Yun looked at her deeply, then turned his back. "Xiao Xue, it's late, go back to sleep." Since he didn't like her, he wouldn't give her any hope at all. This was his usual style of doing things.
Looking at his back, it was so resolute. Hu Xue shook her head disbelievingly, "No, I don't want to." He must be deceiving her, maybe... She made up her mind.
She reached for her collar, slowly unbuttoning the buttons. As her clothes slipped off, her slender and delicate skin was revealed, radiating a lustrous glow, with her clavicle trembling slightly due to tension. She came up behind him, wrapping her pale and flawless arms tightly around his waist, whispering softly in his ear, "Xi gege..."
Lan Huan Yun's face suddenly darkened. He roughly pulled away her hands that were wrapped around his waist and coldly said, "Now put your clothes back on and get out." Tomorrow he would leave this place and never want to see her again. He had thought she was a self-respecting girl, but unexpectedly she turned out to be so shameless and didn't know how to cherish herself.
"No, Xi Gege, you can't treat me like this, I love you so much, turn around and look at me! Am I really that unlikable?" Hu Xue cried out, shouting again as she hugged him tightly.
Lan Hanyun's face sank even deeper, she pulled open her hand, suppressing her anger and growling in a low voice: "Put on your clothes, get out! Don't make me say it for the third time." She spoke word by word.
Hu Xue picked up the clothes from the ground, trembling, and slowly put them on. Tears kept sliding down from her eyes. Why was he so cold-blooded? Even if she stood naked in front of him, he wouldn't bat an eye. Why did he have to be so cruel to her?
The grief-stricken Hu Xue went mad and rushed out of the door, running towards the woods at the edge of the village.
Lan Huan Yun turned around, watching her back disappear into the darkness. He didn't care about her at first, but thinking that Ah Po only had one granddaughter, if something happened to her, Ah Po would definitely be heartbroken. Forget it, he'd better go find her first.
In the endless black night, she ran wildly... not knowing how long she had run. She lay weakly on a tree, crying out loud. Her hands pounded against the trunk fiercely. "What's wrong with me? Why don't you like me, why?" She shouted frantically, venting her emotions. The sound echoed continuously in the forest.
A black figure on the tree had a bloodthirsty smile at the corner of its mouth, it seemed that her dinner for tonight was settled.
She came up behind Hu Xue and asked softly: "Little girl, what's wrong that makes you cry so sadly?"
She felt someone behind her, and Hu Xue stopped crying. Slowly turning around, she was stunned for a moment. Was she a fairy? It was a woman with an extremely seductive appearance, her curvaceous figure exuding a strong sense of temptation, she had a head of fiery red long hair, even her pupils were fire-red, and her enchanting eyes held a flirtatious smile.
Hu Xue's eyes were still dripping with tears as she stared blankly at this woman who was as beautiful as a fairy. She couldn't help but feel a little ashamed of herself. She really didn't think that there was anyone in the world with red hair and red pupils. She couldn't help but suspiciously size her up, wondering if she was really a demon, and whether she would eat her or not. She fearfully retreated backwards.
The woman seemed to know what she was thinking, and smiled like the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother. She spoke softly. "Little girl, don't be afraid, I'm a human being, not a monster." She stepped closer to her step by step.
Fairies are all deceiving, I don't believe you. Hu Xue looked at her guardedly, she retreated step by step in fear. Now she really regretted it, shouldn't have acted impulsively and run to the depths of the dense forest in the middle of the night.
The girl covered her face and sobbed, "Little girl, am I really that scary? I'm so unlucky! When I was young, my family treated me like a monster because of this red hair and red eyes and drove me out of the house. Now, it's even harder for me to make friends because of this. I'm so pitiful!"
Hu Xue stood there hesitantly, her mind constantly struggling. Should she go or not? What if she was really a demon? But she looked so pitiful.
She couldn't help but follow her conscience, so she walked up and gently patted her back. "Don't be sad, okay?"
The girl lifted her head, with tears in her enchanting eyes and tear stains still on her cheeks. She looked so pitiful. "You don't think I'm a monster anymore?" she asked cautiously.
Actually, I'm still a bit scared in my heart, but seeing her current appearance, I couldn't bear to say it out loud. "Hmm! Can you tell me what your name is? Why are you in this dense forest at midnight?"
The woman wiped away her tears, a hint of satisfaction slipping across the corner of her mouth. She gazed pitifully at Hu Xue. "My name is Aina, you can call me Sister Aina. I'm not familiar with this place yet, so I got lost here. Just when I was worried that I couldn't find my way, I met you. What's your name, little girl?"
"Oh! So that's how it is? Hu Xue nodded in understanding, putting down the heart that had been hanging in mid-air. "Aina sister, my name is Hu Xue. My home is just nearby, why don't we go to my place first? It's already so late at night, and as a girl, you shouldn't be staying here alone, it's not safe." In the dead of night, the dense forest was eerily gloomy.
"Xue Er, can you tell sister what just happened that made you cry so sadly?" The seductive eyes with calculation looked at the delicate and tender Hu Xue in front of her, she couldn't help but swallow her saliva, really wanting to take a bite of her white neck. She really didn't know what flavor her blood was, she was looking forward to it! However, she didn't like struggling food, this would ruin her mood for eating.
Hu Xue's heart, which had just calmed down, was stirred up again. Thinking of his indifference and rejection, she once again shed tears. "Aina sister, I like someone, I'm willing to devote myself to him, but he still doesn't like me, doesn't want me. Am I really that disgusting?"
"Of course not! You're so cute, your skin is so fair and tender, I can't help but want to 'take care' of you. How could anyone dislike you?" It was all for the sake of a man. Her enchanting eyes sparkled with cunning. "Xue Er, do you really like him that much? Are you willing to do anything for his sake?"
Hu Xue looked at Ai Na's firm nod, "Yes, for him I am willing to do anything." But why did she do all that, and yet he still didn't care?
Aina smiled slyly, what a simple and foolish woman, but she looks even more delicious like this! "Hehe... Xue'er, you're really too cute. Now look into my eyes and listen to me slowly tell you how to capture a man's heart." As long as she looked into her eyes, she would become a puppet, at the mercy of others. Aina got excited.
Why did I have to look into her eyes? She didn't dare to because looking into her eyes gave people a kind of intangible sense of oppression.
Hu Xue hesitated for half a day, slowly answering: "Okay!" Hu Xue raised her eyes to look at Aina's fiery red eyes, and gradually her eyes became lifeless, losing consciousness, standing there motionlessly.
Aina's mouth curved into an evil smile, her red eyes gleaming with a strange, fiery light. Her long hair scattered in all directions in the wind. "Haha... now I can enjoy my delicious dinner." She stuck out her tongue and licked her lips, slowly approaching Hu Xue's neck.
From a distance, Lan Huan Yun rushed over and saw such a scene. Although he didn't know what the red-haired woman wanted to do to Hu Xue, he saw that Hu Xue seemed to be possessed, standing there motionless. He had a bad premonition in his heart. He shouted loudly: "Stop, what do you want to do?"
Just as Aina was about to enjoy her food, she raised her head in displeasure. Her red eyes fiercely shot towards Lan Huan Yun. You're looking for death! Daring to disturb her mood while eating, she would definitely make him die miserably.
Aina pushed away Hu Xue, now she had no interest in enjoying the food, she wanted to solve this annoying man first. Her seductive eyes coldly stared at Lan Huan Yun, step by step approaching him. "You should die!" Wait a minute, she must drink his blood first, regardless of whether it was delicious or not.
Lan Huan Yun had never seen a ghost or monster in this world, but the woman in front of him, who was emitting an eerie aura, made him feel uncertain. "What exactly are you?" he calmly asked Aina, who was getting closer and closer to him.
Aina smiled coldly, beckoning with her index finger. Lan Huan Yun's body was as if bound by something, and in an instant he appeared before her. "Human, you are not worthy of knowing my noble name."
Lan Huan Yun struggled desperately, but the thing wrapped around his body only tightened its grip. Her hand slid down from his cheek to his pulsating neck vein, and pressed down with a hint of force. "How is it? Is it painful?" She laughed maniacally as she increased her strength.
He detested his own helplessness, his face turned pale, and his breathing became increasingly difficult. However, those unyielding eyes were still glaring at her in anger.
"Let him go!" A cold voice came from behind Aina.
