Chapter 20: The Annual School Beauty Contest

  "Fei Ya Tou, are you okay?" My sister and Shang Yue came running over to ask me a bunch of questions as soon as they saw I was back.

  "It's nothing..." I said listlessly.

  "Wow! She actually came back unscathed!" The class was in an uproar again.

  "She's so great! She's too awesome!!" they exclaimed. Wow~~I'm really being praised to the point of being a god~~?

  I'm used to their gossip by now. I ignore others and walk back to my own seat.

  "What's wrong with you, Fei Tou?" Shang Yue turned around and asked me.

  "It's nothing~~~" I forced a smile at her.

  "Alright! It's not like we just met a day or two ago! We still don't understand you, and it's clear that you're hiding something from us." My sister saw right through me. No wonder she's my sister, she knows me so well!

  "You shouldn't have forgotten that night when we went to Uncle Min's house for dinner, right?" I whispered to them.

  "Keep your voice down." I put my index finger in front of my mouth to signal her to be quiet.
