Chapter 11 You Really Laughed

  Chapter Eleven You Really Laughed

"Rent a house for yourself to live in, I'll stay here." I snatched back my wallet, with a faint blush on my face. He clearly looked down on my house. This house is much smaller than his villa, but it's also the nest I've worked hard to build. Anyway, if he wants me to move out, I won't move.

Kakaxi was delighted to hear about renting a big house and buying a car, but when he heard me say that, his face sank. "Sister 41, you're stupid? This is good enjoyment..."

"We won't rent a house then," Su Haicheng said. "I'll go buy a car tomorrow." As he spoke, he stared at the computer again.

I walked in a bit and saw the data on the computer screen, which were pictures of various small sticks with floral patterns, apparently he was investigating the contents of that package.

Kakaxi originally wanted to stay here, but felt that Su Haicheng was very cold towards him, so he told me first and then went back to school.

As soon as Kakashi left, I said to Sohaku Castle: "If you want to investigate the information about that thing, you can ask Kakashi for help. He was also the one who investigated your identity information at the beginning, and he is indeed more capable in this aspect."

"He's too arrogant. Knowing too much is actually a disadvantage for him. Tonight, I'll use the computer downstairs, you sleep on the sofa."

Although I said before that I sleep in the room, now that he has said so, I can only sleep on the sofa. However, from these two days of interaction, I also know that he is a gentleman and won't do anything to me. But psychologically, I'm still a bit uneasy.

After taking a bath and changing into new clothes, I lay down on the old sofa in the living room with my quilt and pillow, the lights were still on, which gave me some sense of security.

Lying on the sofa, I can see my desk in the room and look at Su Haicheng's profile. His profile is really good-looking, with three-dimensional features. Unfortunately, this man is not mine. He already has a girlfriend.

I lay down and asked: "Su Haicheng, why did you come looking for me instead of going to find your previous girlfriend?"

He looked at me and asked: "How did you know?"

"I just went home and took out those things, your grandfather had someone investigate you. They thought I was your girlfriend."

  "Don't ask!"

"Don't ask, don't ask!" I'm not satisfied in my heart. I treated him as a friend, but he didn't even tell me about this kind of thing. Wait! I suddenly stood up from the sofa and walked into the room: "We lied to your mom that we have a child, what if she really comes to find me for the child after several months? What should I give her? Or is it that your real girlfriend is already pregnant, and you'll just go pick one up later? Will your girlfriend agree with that?"

Su Haicheng slapped his hand on the table: "Attention! About face!"

After shouting, he also felt that something was wrong. I blinked my eyes at him: "I'm not your soldier. Forget it, don't ask and don't ask, wait for your mom to come and find you later. Take one step at a time."

I rolled up the quilt and returned to the sofa. Lying on the sofa, my gaze happened to see Su Haicheng. He lowered his head, with one hand pinching both temples and his palm covering his eyes.

He didn't know if he was crying or not, but his hands remained still for a long time.

Actually, thinking about it, Su Haicheng is quite pitiful. If he hadn't died, with his identity as a third-generation military family and already being an action commander, he should have been able to become a big leader in the future. Maybe he could even be like his grandfather and become a general.

He died on a mission, not even his parents could see him. His body couldn't be found. And then there's his girlfriend, who might have been pregnant with his child, or at least he had plans to file a romantic relationship report, so he must have really liked her. Now that he's dead, even if he came back, he wouldn't dare to look for that woman again.

Alas! Su Haicheng also has his own troubles.

The next day, when I arrived at school, there was only Wang Yaoming in the studio, and he was feeding breakfast to his current girlfriend, another classmate in our studio.

When he saw me coming in, Wang Yaoming said: "Si Y has arrived. The boss is on leave today and hasn't given us any tasks, so we're free to do what we want today. We'll go to the amusement park later, are you going or not?"

"Look at them, I said directly: 'Forget it, I won't be a light bulb anymore. Where's Kakashi?'"

"He was exploited by his boss as a laborer."

Wang Yaoming's girlfriend, my other classmate Ya Wen said: "Four one, do you think our boss has really gone crazy? This morning, he came to the office early and took a bunch of small advertisements with him, written with missing person notices. He asked Kakashi to follow him to post the ads. If they get caught, it'll be a big deal. University professors posting small ads on the street and getting caught... Tsk, this news. Do you think we should report this situation to the school? Will this affect our graduation in the future?"

I didn't say a word and left the studio. To them, the boss was crazy, but I knew that the boss had indeed seen a special person yesterday, and that person was very likely another corpse who walked out of the dead zone. If we could find her, she might know more about what happened in Su Haicheng.

I walked out of the studio and headed straight home. Because I just thought of a brilliant idea in my head, which might be very useful for Su Haicheng.

Downstairs, I ran into him and suddenly remembered that he said he was going to buy a car today. I blocked his way and lowered my voice: "My boss and Kakashi are posting flyers to look for Sakura, the boss's wife."

"Alas, unfortunately, I don't even know what she looks like, otherwise I could also go find her. Can only wait for news from your boss's side."

I was stunned for a moment: "You're looking for her."

"If she's indeed from the village as you've speculated, and her family was originally from that village too, then she probably knows what that little stick is."

I burst out laughing: "Me, I think so too." I never thought that I would coincidentally agree with him.

"What's the point of thinking like that? We've never met her, how can we help find someone? Let those who are looking for her do it, and we'll just wait for the result. Are you okay?"

"The boss is on leave, and I really have nothing to do."

"Come on, let's go pick out a car."

He pulled me by the arm and almost didn't give me any chance to resist, then dragged me forward. "Hey, let go, can't I just follow you?"

"After finally catching up with his pace, I asked: "How much money is on that card? Won't we go buy a car and find out there's not enough money on the card? Your mom just wanted me to use this money to buy some good food for myself to nourish my body. She didn't prepare it for buying a car."

He walked away in the morning without even looking at me and said, "This card is mine! I've been using it since high school. The money inside is absolutely enough for you to buy a car, buy a house, and have eight children in the hospital."

My footsteps froze, and after a second, I burst out laughing.

He stopped in his tracks, turned around and looked at me. I said: "I really didn't expect you to say something like that. But first of all, let me tell you, I'm not a sow." He said this with a straight face, which actually made me laugh even more.

He looked at me, waiting for my laughter to stop, before saying: "Alright, had enough of laughing? Let's go." Although he concealed it well, I still saw his mouth curve up slightly and his eyes soften. I followed in his footsteps, loudly saying: "You just smiled!"

  "No!"

  "You actually laughed just now!"

  "No! What's so funny?"

"You really smiled! I saw it! Smile again, you're so handsome, smiling must be even more handsome!" I smiled again, still holding his hand and being playful, laughing there.

He was pulled back by me and turned around to look at me, his face sinking: "Let go!"

Looking at him like that, I quickly let go and didn't dare to laugh anymore. But my mouth still muttered: "What's wrong with you? Just kidding, being so moody, who would fall in love with you? Your girlfriend is really unlucky!"

We've approached the bus stop, where familiar classmates are smiling at me, some calling out "Shī Jiě" (older sister), and I nod and smile in response. Su Haicheng whispers beside me, "Don't forget, you're that unlucky person now."
