  "Tong Auntie, where are you?" Ye Chen tried to conceal the urgency in his voice, but it was still apparent.

  "Uh-huh." Xiaoyan responded with a murmur and then carried the 'docile' little black cat in her arms into the house.

  Ye Chen followed closely behind, following Xiao Yan into the room.

  With Ye Chen by her side, Xiao Yan also felt much more at ease. Perhaps it was because she was truly too tired, but as soon as she closed her eyes, she fell fast asleep.

  Xiao Yan was sleeping soundly, but the little black cat in her arms stared straight at Ye Chen, as if monitoring his every move.

  "Okay then, come play at my place next time." Tong Xuan smiled and saw Ye Chen off.

  One evening, Tong Xuan ran to Xiao Yan's room several times with a worried heart, and each time Xiao Yan was asleep, Tong Xuan would feel relieved and return to her own room.
