Chapter 47: Lin Hao's Mysterious Chill
Chapter 47, Lin Hao suddenly heard a meowing sound... He quickly turned around and headed towards the back. Since he was in the ceiling grid on the fourth floor near the window, the space was limited. Lin Hao didn't notice as he turned around and fell out of the fourth-floor window. In his shock, Lin Hao raised both hands above his head and waved them several times.
Right away Lin Hao thought, I'm done for, now he's going to experience the feeling of being a flying person in mid-air. "Month, your little Haozi is going to become a big pig head." Lin Hao closed his eyes and let his vision rest for a while.
Waiting for the pain to arrive, "Ah... why doesn't it hurt?"; Lin Hao muttered to himself. ... Bai Jiuyue was originally checking around to find a place with stairs, looked around and finally found the seam between the window of the villa and the wall on the fourth floor, just enough to use the seam to exert force and climb up.
Suddenly, a scream was heard. Raising her head to look, "Ah~! Good guy, the little Haozi he was anxiously looking for had actually fallen from the sky. Without time to think, Bai Jiuyue made a swift turn and just managed to catch Lin Hao who had tumbled down from the fourth floor.
"My goodness! Where on earth did this fly come from?" Bai Jiuyue looked up at the fourth floor windowsill, where a rotting corpse was slowly crawling downwards, and asked Lin Hao in her arms.
"I'm so glad you caught me, dear. I almost became the fly's snack you mentioned earlier. Do you still think it's a fly?" Lin Hao jumped out of Bai Jiuyue's arms and asked.
"Of course, uh...not now, I take back what I said earlier." Bai Jiuyue replied, looking at the rotting corpse that was quickly crawling down from the window.
Suddenly, Lin Hao said, "If I were you, it would be better to leave quickly." As soon as Lin Hao finished speaking, he suddenly felt a wave of urination and thirst, and a strange pressure surged up in his chest.
That pressure, although not enough to make Lin Hao feel short of breath, still pressed unrelentingly on his chest. Previously, Lin Hao had been constantly complaining, but now he suddenly seemed like a different person with an optimistic personality that made Bai Jiuyue very uncomfortable.
Then he said, "Of course, my little Haozi." The two quickly walked into their own cars and prepared to leave. Bai Jiuyue got in the car, started the engine, and asked, "Haozi, what was that thing just now, it was quite thrilling?"
Lin Hao didn't respond, he just covered his heart with his hand, which was suddenly racing. The two of them drove the Mercedes quickly past the entrance of the villa they had just left, the car lights swiftly sweeping across the wall below the fourth floor before disappearing. The engine sound gradually faded away, and the surroundings seemed even darker than before.
Bai Jiuyue deliberately let out a loud cough and then came to the side of his own villa, casually opening the car door, quickly walking to the front of the villa, going up the stairs and turning on the voice-controlled lights.
Lin Haoer didn't say a word, pushed the door open and got out of the car. He first went to solve that urge to pee, then rushed into the bathroom. Lin Haoer sat on the toilet and stared blankly for a while, but the inexplicable palpitations in his heart still hadn't subsided.
Before today, Lin Hao had seen all sorts of corpses: those with maggots, those that could move and jump, and those that were rotten and smelly. He had never had such a strange feeling before.
"What's going on here?" Lin Hao took a dozen deep breaths, then stood up and pulled his underwear and shorts back up together.
"Master, master, you must protect Hao Hao, right? Master, today, for some reason, when I saw that moving rotting corpse, I felt especially terrified. Lin Hao stood in the bathroom next to the mirror and muttered to himself."
Continuously changing several hand seals, silently reciting the mantra of clarity, "Qí shǒu jī yī sū xī dì, tóu miàn dǐng lǐ qī jù zhī, wǒ jīn chēng zàn dà zhǔn shì tí. Wéi yuàn cí bēi chuí jiā hù, nán wú duō nǎn sān móu sān pú tuó."
Then I heard Lin Hao reciting the Clear Mind Mantra, his voice was like singing and chanting at the same time.
"Xiao Haozi, are you okay? Hurry up and open the door, don't scare me! Xiao Haozi!" Bai Jiuyue heard Lin Hao muttering to himself in the bathroom and asked. At this time, Lin Hao's voice was trembling nonstop as he replied from inside the bathroom, "I'm fine, don't worry about me."
Lin Hao washed his hands in the marble sink in the bathroom, then opened the door with his wet hands and smiled at Bai Jiuyue: "What's there to worry about?" Then he walked to the refrigerator, pulled it open, took out ice cubes from the freezer, and poured beer into a glass.
He then tilted his head back, downing the entire glass of iced beer in one gulp. He placed the glass on the dining table, and the ice cubes inside clinked against each other for a moment before coming to a stop.
Lin Hao couldn't stop taking deep breaths, and at this moment, Lin Hao suddenly felt that kind of heart-pounding chill rush up again, making Lin Hao involuntarily shiver.
"Damn it, here we go again," Lin Hao muttered to himself, quickly getting up from the sofa, his legs crossed and his hands placed on his knees. His hands were slightly trembling as he poured a few drops of his own blood into the cup he had used to drink beer earlier.
