Chapter 5: Conflict Revival

  Chapter 5: Conflict Revives

As time passed, the sky was already bright, and we saw the firelight and flashlight in the woods, a group of people walked into the chaotic burial mound. Upon closer inspection, there were Teacher Zhang, Teacher Wang, Wei Ge's father and mother, and Dong Zi's father and mother.

Looking at the three of us in a sorry state, it suddenly scared these adults, especially me, almost covered in blood. We were sent to the hospital overnight. After this incident, my parents also took an overnight train from the south to return home. I found that my body was stronger than before, and my hair seemed to have turned a bit yellow, which led to me having a very famous nickname at school, called "Huang Mao" (Yellow Hair). The biggest change is in my eyes, as if I can see some strange things.

The doctor cleaned my body, the scars on my body were detoxified, and the metacarpal bone at my ankle was taken out for examination. I was bandaged all over my body in the ward, receiving an intravenous drip. I saw a little girl dancing in the hospital corridor.

I walked closer to take a look, but I didn't see anything. Did I just have an illusion?

"Meng Fei, Meng Fei? What are you looking at?" Mom thought I was a bit abnormal.

"Doctor, does my son need a head CT or something? Is it a concussion?" The old father also anxiously asked the doctor.

"Hmm... I think I just did it yesterday, nothing's wrong." The doctor looked at my dad suspiciously and began checking other patients. I was still puzzled.

Due to uncertain factors, I need to be hospitalized for observation for 24 hours, so I will have to stay here tonight.

In the dark night, I saw that little girl dancing in the corridor again. The little girl smiled at me and blinked her eyes: "Brother, can you see me?"

I nodded subconsciously, and the little girl smiled happily, "You're not an ordinary person, they can't see me." The little girl pointed to the people in the ward, with a very happy expression.

  "Them?" I was somewhat puzzled.

"It's just the uncles and aunts who live here, as well as doctors and nurses." The little girl explained innocently.

"You're really different!" My curiosity was suddenly piqued.

"Yes, I'm already dead." The little girl said calmly, my head suddenly went "buzz", I suddenly thought of a word, I simply didn't dare to believe it, "You are..."

I didn't say the word out loud, but the little girl seemed to understand intuitively and nodded slightly. My mind suddenly fell into chaos - why, why was I seeing things that I shouldn't be seeing?

"Brother, do I look good dancing?" The little girl asked innocently.

"Uh... nice view." I smiled slightly, though it was a bit forced.

"Then I'll come back here to find you tomorrow, okay? You have to watch me dance, remember, my name is Zhenzhen." The little girl said, and then directly drilled into the wall of the ward, disappearing like that.

I was sleepless all night, and I didn't even dare to go to the toilet because I saw a hanged ghost in the toilet. Those big white eyeballs were enough to scare an adult to death. If my nerves hadn't been tempered like steel last night, I'm sure I would have fainted immediately.

The next day, under my strong request, I was discharged from the hospital and stayed at home for two or three days. Then I went back to school again.

Far away, I saw a girl in red standing at the classroom door. I rubbed my eyes and suddenly felt delighted.

"Zhang Xiaohong, how did you come?" I stood at the classroom door, smiling at her.

"Haha, let me take a look at you, my little handsome boy." Zhang Xiaohong said with a playful tone.

"Is your husband okay?" I smiled and made a funny face.

"We'll talk about it when you grow up." Zhang Xiaohong said with a smile.

"Then I won't bother you anymore..." I looked dejected, the beauty that I had risked life and death to get, actually treated me like this, how could it not be heartbreaking?

"Come to my house and play after school." Zhang Xiaohong said a sentence, then turned her head and left, the expression on my face was instantly replaced by delight.

As soon as I entered the classroom, I saw Wei Ge sitting upright in his chair, seriously doing math problems. What's gotten into him? Has he stopped liking pretty girls?

"Brother Wei, Teacher Zhang is here." I walked into the seat and subconsciously shouted a sentence. Brother Wei immediately softened down.

I finally understand what Wei Ge is doing, this guy is actually playing ** under the table, I am speechless.

Teacher Zhang Xiaoli started class, and I found that my brain suddenly cleared up a lot. Even writing Chinese characters became effortless, as if divinely assisted. Next was Teacher Wang's class, where math problems that I previously couldn't solve suddenly became simple, and I solved over ten questions in one go.

Classmate Wang looked at me with a new gaze, and Wang Meili from the next table admired me even more. My hand still reached into her little dress and grabbed it fiercely twice, it was really cool.

Before I knew it, school was over and the entrance of the school was packed with people. From afar, I saw Li Dong, San from the Thirteen Hawks, my cousin Wang Bin, Er from the Thirteen Hawks, everyone from the Thirteen Hawks had arrived except for Da Ge Li Chuang.

As I walked closer, I saw that outside the campus were also a dozen or so people from society, these were students of Xing Guang High School, their school uniforms I recognized, leading them was one of the four great kings, a guy with a national character face, named Li Hao, nicknamed Hào Zi, liked to steal and cause trouble, was notorious in the surrounding area as a hoodlum.

"Wang Cheng, you son of a bitch, you're getting bold, aren't you? Daring to steal my girlfriend Shan Shan. I think you're tired of living, huh?" Hua Zi was chewing on a cigarette butt, looking very arrogant, and the thirteen eagles were also at odds with each other.

Xing Guang High School and those thugs, about twenty or so people, all holding uniform clubs and bricks, while Li Dong's side had chair legs. A very familiar formation, the same people who blocked me a few days ago were all there. Li Dong saw me from afar, "Meng Fei, you dare to come to school? Watch me kill you!" I had already walked up to Li Dong, looking at the dozen or so people behind him, my face filled with anger, but not a hint of fear in my heart. My nerves had been tempered like steel by that night's events.

"Damn you!" I kicked Li Dong's crotch with one foot, and this kid immediately covered his groin and fell to the ground. The dozen or so people behind him rushed towards me. Xing Guang's group suddenly became somewhat unclear about the situation, but they stood by without moving. Li Dong's face was twisted in pain, but he got up after a while, gritting his teeth as he spoke to me: "This kick settles our score, I'll let Zhang Xiaohong go, don't look for trouble today."

"Get out of my face." I was relentless, and with another kick, he finally got smart and dodged it. My foot kicked empty air. The people around us immediately erupted into a frenzy, with over a dozen people punching and kicking me at once. Summoning strength from who-knows-where, I grabbed Li Dong's collar with one hand and pinched his neck with the other. Li Dong was on the verge of suffocating, while the crowd slowly dispersed. My body had taken over a dozen punches, yet I felt no pain or discomfort, whereas Li Dong's face had turned bright red and purple, and he looked like he was about to lose consciousness.

"Maung Fei... if you don't let go, I'll call the police!" My cousin Wang Bin shouted, fearing that I would cause trouble. After all, they were a gang, and my cousin didn't want me to get beaten up in the end. I finally let go of his hand and pointed at Li Dong, saying: "Zhang Xiaohong is my Maung Fei's woman, you'd better watch your mouth!"

The crowd surged, and I watched as Zhang Xiaohong, dressed in red, walked out. She glanced at Li Dong, who was half dead, grabbed my hand, and dragged me towards the school gate. Not long after we left, a fight broke out at the school entrance, but Li Dong didn't participate because that kid almost got strangled to death by me.
