Chapter 8: The Cliff Fall
Xiao Huan Yue's lips curled up in a cold smile as she watched the scene unfold before her. She had been waiting for this moment for a long time.
The battle between Xiao Chu and the black-clad men was intense, with both sides suffering heavy losses. But just when it seemed that Xiao Chu would emerge victorious, Fang Xin suddenly turned traitor and stabbed one of his own comrades in the back.
Xiao Chu's eyes widened in shock as he stared at Fang Xin, who was now charging towards him with a sword. The black-clad men took advantage of the situation and closed in on Xiao Chu from all sides.
In a flash, Xiao Huan Yue appeared behind the black-clad man who was about to strike Xiao Chu down. With a swift kick, she sent the man flying off the cliff.
Xiao Chu's eyes met hers, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. Then, Fang Xin's sword flashed in the sunlight as he struck at Xiao Chu.
But before the sword could land, Xiao Huan Yue had already pushed Xiao Chu out of the way and taken his place. The sword pierced her chest, and she let out a soft sigh as she fell backwards off the cliff.
Xiao Chu's eyes went wide with horror as he stared at the spot where Xiao Huan Yue had disappeared. He felt as though his heart had been ripped out of his chest.
"NOOO!" he bellowed, charging towards the black-clad men with a fierce cry.
But it was too late. Xiao Huan Yue was gone, and all that was left was the sound of her laughter echoing in the wind.

P.S. The classic cliff fall scene, haha, it's so cliché but it's just so useful! Don't throw rotten vegetables at me, guys!
