Chapter 5 A Simple Two-Mouthed Family

Volume 1: All in the Name of Love (Typing with Hands) Chapter 5: A Simple Family of Two

Xu Nuò and Li Kěxīn followed Wang Míng to his and Zhang Wei's small home, looking at the location of the residential area not far from the scene of the case, about a ten or twenty minute drive. Took the elevator to the 12th floor.

Xu Nu saw that the gate still had a "囍" character, carefully covered with transparent glass paper, so the color was still bright red, as if the owner had just got married.

Wang Ming stroked the "囍" character with his hand, filled with bitterness, and said: "This is the glass paper on Weimei's veil. She said she wanted us to be sweet and passionate like newlyweds forever."

Xu Nuo suddenly asked: "What were you doing between 5 and 7 this morning?"

"Of course I was sleeping at home, what else can you do so early!" Wang Ming replied quickly, but the key in his hand stabbed several times before it was inserted into the keyhole.

Xu Nu watched all this without a word, following him into the house, looking around at the simple and warm decoration inside, from the umbrella stand and key hook by the door, it can be seen that the hostess should be a meticulous woman. As soon as they entered the house, right in front of them on the wall was an enlarged wedding photo. The two young people in the photo had happy smiles on their faces, with yearning for the future in their eyes, but who would have thought that just over a year after getting married, they would be separated forever.

Wang Ming also stared at the wedding photo for half a day, unable to move his eyes away. After a long time, he finally remembered that the police were still beside him: "Two officers, you can look at it yourself, I'm really too tired today." He sat down on the sofa, buried his head in his hands, and cried silently.

Xu Nuoxin stepped lightly into the bedroom of the two, which was simply decorated with a double bed, a wall-mounted LCD TV, and a four-door wardrobe by the door. On the bedside table were their joint photos and a small alarm clock, and on the windowsill was a pot of jasmine tea. She opened the bedside cabinet and wardrobe to take a rough look, habitually taking a few photos with her phone, but still didn't notice anything unusual.

She turned out of the bedroom and came to the study opposite, the study was not large, a wall of bookshelves, a computer desk. Next to the desk was also placed a small notebook computer. Xu Nu browsed through the books on the bookshelf, which were basically professional books on architecture and accounting, as well as some essays and casual reading materials. She casually pulled out a collection of San Mao's works, and heard Wang Ming's voice behind her: "Those casual readings are Weiwei's, I don't read those."

Xu Nu turned back and asked: "Can I take a look at your computer? Does your wife have the habit of keeping a diary?"

"She shouldn't be writing a diary, at least I don't know, the laptop is for work, it's all our company's design drawings and files, nothing of Weiwei's, you can look at the computer at home as you like." Wang Ming said, rubbing his temples.

Xu Nuo opened the computer and randomly clicked on several folders, which were all network files, movie files, music files, and so on. There were no personal files, nor did he find any hidden folders.

Just as she was about to shut down the computer, she suddenly saw the QQ icon on her desktop and opened it with a glimmer of hope. As expected, the password had been saved, and she couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement in her heart. However, after flipping through the chat records for half a day, she gained nothing, and instead ended up dizzy from staring at the screen.

Finally reluctantly opened QQ mailbox, and found an email in the "drafts" folder: "Hello, I want to ask if your clinic has a customer named Wang Ming, home address is......" The letter was only written halfway, and the address bar was also blank. Looking at the time, it was several days before the case occurred. Xu Nu frowned and thought for a long time but still couldn't understand, so he could only take a screenshot and send it to his own phone for reference.

Xu Nu returned to the living room, and Li Kexin leaned over and whispered to her: "I've been to the kitchen and bathroom, nothing unusual."

Xu Nuo nodded and sat down on the sofa, then asked Wang Ming: "Mr. Wang, are there any health problems with your body?"

Wang Ming's eyes seemed evasive: "No! Why is Officer Xu asking this?"

"Oh, nothing, I was just asking casually. Mr. Wang, you and your wife have been working for less than two years, why are you in such a hurry to have children?"

"Oh, when we went for a pre-marital check-up, the doctor said that Weiwei's body was relatively weak and it would be better to have children while young. So, after getting married, we started planning to have a baby. But maybe due to Weiwei's physical condition, it wasn't until last week that she finally found out she was pregnant. I was so busy that I didn't even have time to take her out to celebrate, and then...” Wang Ming choked back tears and couldn't continue speaking.

Xu Nuo suddenly changed the subject: "Can I see your high school graduation photos?"

Wang Ming found a yearbook: "This is Vivian's yearbook, I don't like messing with these things, so I didn't. The first page is our class graduation photo."

"Which one is you? Which one is Zhang Wei?" Wang Ming pointed out on the photo following Xu Nuo's question.

"Which one of you wore a moon-white cheongsam at your wedding?" Xu Nu suddenly asked.

Wang Ming's hand involuntarily pointed to a girl in the first row, then suddenly withdrew his finger, looking at Xu Nu with some anger: "Officer Xu, what do you mean by this?"

Xu Nuo looked at the name printed under the photo and saw that the girl's name was Liu Yun: "Nothing, just according to Zhang Xin's reflection, your wife seemed to have some conflict with Liu Yun at your wedding."

"Huh? You guys actually believed a kid's words?" Wang Ming was stunned for a moment.

Liu Yun is a chubby girl, wearing a pair of black-framed glasses and oversized school uniform, completely different from Zhang Xin's description. Xu Nuo took a closer look at the photo and said without lifting his head: "Zhang Xin is no longer a child."

Wang Ming didn't speak until half a day later: "Xiao Yun is my and Weiwei's high school classmate. She has liked me since high school, which was something our whole class and even the entire grade knew about, so it wasn't a secret anymore. The day before the wedding, Xiao Yun asked me out, I consulted with Weiwei, she disagreed, so I turned her down. But Weiwei seemed to mind somewhat, that's why at the wedding she would make things difficult for Xiao Yun, actually it didn't count as conflict, Xiao Yun wouldn't hurt Weiwei over something like this."

"Zhang Xin seems to like you too!" Xu Nuo didn't comment on Wang Ming's answer, and immediately threw out a new question.

"Officer Xu, you're going too far! My wife just passed away and instead of investigating the killer, you're here asking me all these questions!" Wang Ming's anger grew, his voice getting louder.

"Mr. Wang, please calm down, I just have some questions to ask, as soon as we clear up these doubts, we can find the murderer who killed your wife as soon as possible." Xu Nuo turned around and looked at Wang Ming seriously.

Wang Ming gradually calmed down under Xu Nuo's gaze, and said somewhat helplessly: "When I was in college, Weiwei asked me to tutor Xinxin. Maybe it was because of the admiration of a child, she thought I was very smart, so she had some excessive dependence on me. After I realized it, I told Weiwei about it, and then we used the excuse of being busy with our graduation thesis to find another junior to tutor her instead."

He paused and explained: "This was just a temporary infatuation of children, I thought it would slowly dissipate over time, and didn't take it seriously."

"Mr. Wang, I don't have any other questions for now, thank you for your trouble. Finally, I hope you can provide me with Liu Yun's contact information." Xu Nu stood up to leave, and Li Kexin, who was sitting aside taking notes, also closed her notebook and got up.

"Xiao Yun is now a teacher in the Faculty of Arts at W University. This is her mobile phone number." Wang Ming handed over Liu Yun's phone number to Xu Nu.

Xu Nuo took out his phone and checked the time when he went downstairs. It was still early, so he turned to Li Kexin and said, "Let's go directly to W University."
