Chapter 5: Sending Flowers
Because it's a costume drama, the makeup time is relatively long. After Yan Luo finished her makeup, an hour had already passed. When she came out of the dressing room, she saw that there was a commotion in front of her, with several unknown artists gathered together, pointing and discussing something at the door.
Yan Luo stood at the entrance of the studio, glanced over and saw a young man wearing a florist uniform holding a large bouquet of roses. Outsiders entering the set need to register their names, and he was doing so at the door.
It's normal for artists to receive gifts and flowers from fans, but they're usually sent to the entertainment company, not often to the filming location. So when everyone saw the roses, they couldn't help but wonder who sent them and who they were for.
"Look at how pleased Liu Zhēnzhēn looks, I wonder if this flower is for her?" one of them guessed. "Not to mention that she was an hour late yesterday and arrived in a blue sports car."
"I also saw it, but unfortunately I didn't see clearly what the person on the car looked like. However... " The speaker's voice was slightly lowered, "I heard that she can become the heroine of this play, relying on hidden rules."
"What's the big secret, you know what people in the circle call her? 'Liu Yijue', she's a one-of-a-kind on the bed. Don't even mention a bouquet of roses, if she puts in some effort on the bed, maybe she can exchange it for a 24K gold rose and have it displayed in that place for people to admire."
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone burst out laughing. It's unknown whether Liu Zhēnzhēn heard this or not, but she actually looked over in their direction, causing the few people to stiffen up and immediately scatter like birds and beasts.
Liu Zhēnzhēn also changed into an ancient costume, her long hair fluttering, setting off that delicate face even more beautifully. She raised an eyebrow, proudly like a peacock. Seeing those few women who were chattering nonsense fleeing in disarray, a hint of disdain flashed across her eyes.
Liu Zhēnzhēn turned her head towards the door and looked over, a hint of doubt rising in her heart. Could it be that this flower was really sent by that insensitive fatso? Thinking of that bald old man, Liu Zhēnzhēn felt a wave of disgust.
But which woman doesn't like flowers and money? And which woman doesn't like to be the object of envy for everyone?
The man who delivered flowers came over, Liu Zhēnzhēn puffed out her chest and walked over with a dignified gait.
"What a beautiful flower." Liu Zhēnzhēn walked closer to the florist, intentionally speaking in a loud voice.
The florist looked at Liu Zhēnzhēn for a moment, then hastily and excitedly pulled out paper and pen, "Miss Liu, please sign an autograph for me, I'm your fan."
"Good."
Liu Zhēnzhēn suppressed the disdain in her heart, put on a very affectionate face, then took the pen and signed her name on the paper. She stretched out her hand to hug the bouquet of flowers, but unexpectedly, the florist dodged slightly to the side, avoiding Liu Zhēnzhēn.
Liu Zhenzhen's face flashed a hint of displeasure, but in front of so many people, it wasn't good to say anything, so she just forced a smile and said, "Didn't someone order flowers for me?"
"Sorry, Miss Liu, this flower is not for you." The florist took out the order and looked at the name on it before saying, "It's for Miss Yan Luo."
Liu Zhēnzhēn's face suddenly fell, and her complexion turned iron-gray.
It hasn't officially started yet, and with Liu Zhēnzhēn's high-profile earlier, everyone was guessing who sent the flowers to Liu Dàpái, but it turned out that the flowers weren't for her. Many people couldn't help but burst out laughing, and many others cast their gaze on Yán Luò.
