Chapter 22: Bandits Raid Village
"Don't...don't come over!"
Looking at the increasingly close demonic tiger, Wang Hong retreated continuously, and just as he was terrified, a bright yellow light flashed by, and with a "poof" sound, a burst of blood splattered from the body of the ferocious tiger. The demonic tiger that was still majestic in the previous moment, had its head and body separated in an instant, with blood splattering everywhere.
Then, the bright yellow light flashed again, revealing its true form, which was an ancient-looking flying sword.
"Who is who!"
The sudden change of events frightened Wang Hong, who was still in a state of shock and looked towards the place where Huang Meng appeared, shouting loudly. However, the response he got was a very familiar voice.
"Dad, it's me!"
As he looked around, Wang Hong was stunned, because in the grass thicket, a figure emerged. It wasn't someone else, but his only son, Wang Fei.
Overjoyed in her heart, yet a line of old tears, however, flowed down unconsciously. It's been three years, and finally the king's daughter has returned home.
Looking at his father's incoherent muttering, Wang Fei felt a sour and bitter heart, no longer calm as usual, with a guilty expression, he stepped forward to kowtow and briefly recounted his experiences over the past three years.
Although it was only a few words, Wang Hong also knew the hardships behind them. He had once met an immortal master and slightly understood the matter of cultivation. The path of cultivating the Way was extremely perilous, and if not for Wang Fei's determination to go, plus his wife's eyes, Wang Hong would never have agreed.
But things have changed, just now I saw Wang Fei kill a ferocious monster with one blow, and Wang Hong was finally at ease.
As it's his own decision, as a father, I should naturally support him.
With a satisfied smile, Wang Hong gazed at King Fei below his knees. Just then, a buzzing noise interrupted his thoughts. He turned around to see that the beehive under the giant tree in the distance seemed to have been startled, and the bees flew out and rushed towards him.
"Fly, run quickly, these bees are very poisonous!"
King Hong was flustered and seemed to have forgotten Wang Fei's abilities, revealing the instincts of a father, blocking Wang Fei behind him, grabbing a handful of straw from his side and throwing it at the swarm of bees.
This group of bees naturally didn't get along, seeing the vast grassland, they scattered in all directions from the cracks and crevices, continuing to attack Wang Fei and his son.
"Dad, be careful!"
Wang Fei's eyes turned cold, and he leaped to Wang Hong's front, simultaneously activating his hand seals with a few swift motions. With a series of whooshing sounds, five flames burst forth from his fingertips.
"Go!"
Wang Fei let out a low shout, his five fingers struck in succession, and a fireball was instantly released, sweeping towards the incoming peaks.
Those bees saw the scarlet flames and the rising heat, and instantly fled in a hurry, scattering like birds and beasts.
"Hmph!" Wang Fei's eyes were cold and disdainful, his face scornful. These bees that wanted to harm his own family had picked the wrong target.
But the next moment, his eyes lit up!
Under the scattered peaks, a giant beehive appeared, with a light yellow viscous liquid substance in the middle.
A faint pungent and spicy smell was emitted from it.
"Royal Jelly of the Century!"
Wang Fei's heart was racing. As the saying goes, "to search everywhere and finally find it without effort", he had been worried about Queen Bee, and unexpectedly found her here.
Without saying another word, Wang Fei immediately went forward to take it down, but was pulled back by Wang Hong, who reminded him with a single sentence.
Looking at his father's concerned eyes, Wang Fei felt a warmth in his heart, nodded, and walked lightly to the front of the beehive.
Those bees, frightened by Wang Fei's previous flames, retreated in a hurry. Seeing this, Wang Fei's mouth corner revealed a hint of a smile, and power was indeed a good thing.
Then, Wang Fei unfolded his flying sword and took down more than half of the bee king's honey, returning to the village with his father.
Just halfway through, Wang Fei felt that something was wrong, a faint smell of blood wafted towards Fengzhulian.
"Father, something is amiss in the village!" Wang Fei's footsteps halted, his face darkening as he spoke to Wang Hong beside him.
Since his cultivation improved, Wang Fei's senses had become more acute, and his perception of danger became increasingly keen.
When Wang Fei's warning was heard, Wang Hong naturally believed it without a doubt, immediately raised his vigilance to the highest level, and marched towards the village, while Wang Fei drove his flying sword, entering the village one step ahead.
……
"Shan Dawai, spare my family's Xing Ning!"
An old woman in a village was pulling and tugging at a big strong man, begging him pitifully.
By the side of Da Han, there were over a dozen robust men, who grasped long knives stained with blood, looking ferocious and sinister. On a long rope, several beautiful women were tied up.
Judging from their attire, they are obviously bandits from the nearby mountain. Next to them is a group of villagers with no power to bind chickens, occasionally there are a few physically strong ones who want to fight back, but were hacked into serious injuries by the bandits' long knives.
"Get out, you old hag, scram!"
Upon hearing the old woman's plea, this burly man was extremely displeased. He pushed her away and spat at her, saying viciously.
On the other side, Wang Fei's mother went up to another man and begged: "Please let go of Yu'er, let her go..."
"Get out!"
To a frail woman, the man was unmoved, his feet kicked out and he said coldly.
"Stop!"
Just as the man was about to push Wang Mu, a loud shout suddenly came, followed by a crimson light that flashed before everyone's eyes, and a man in a green robe walked out of it.
This man is Wang Fei.
"Wang Fei is Wang Fei, a disciple of Danfeng Sect, a cultivator!"
Wang Fei walked out, and those village names immediately began to discuss in private, with a hint of divine light flashing in their eyes.
Since Wang Fei entered the Danfeng Sect, he had returned home many times in the past decade. The villagers naturally knew about Wang Fei's affairs, and now that they saw him stepping out of the rainbow light, they couldn't help but be moved, a glimmer of hope rising in their hearts.
In comparison, those mountain bandits didn't look so good.
"Brother!"
Seeing his own brother, Wang Yu was overjoyed and hastily shouted out, but the man beside him furrowed his brow, and Wang Yu immediately shut his mouth.
Wang Fei rushed to Wang Yu, nodded slightly without looking at these mountain bandits, and stepped lightly with his feet, his body swaying as he came to the side of Queen Mother and supported her.
"Is it you, little one?" Queen Mother asked with joy, stroking the face of the man who was supporting her.
Wang Fei gently patted Wang Mu's shoulder, comforted her a few times, and then came to the front of this group of mountain bandits, his eyes changing in an instant.
"Who... who are you, daring to interfere with the affairs of our Shanhe Gang!" The man, who seemed to be the leader, grabbed Wang Yu by the arm and stared at Wang Fei, who was emitting a cold aura all over his body. He swallowed hard and said.
"Let them go!"
Wang Fei stood still, his voice cold as he spoke.
"Hum, who do you think you are? I won't let you go, what can you...do to me?"
The leading man was still somewhat skeptical at first, but when he saw Wang Fei's increasingly gloomy face, his mouth slightly bitter and his words somewhat incoherent.
Facing such a villain, Wang Fei didn't bother to waste time with him. With a raise of his hand, a flying sword emitting bright yellow light suddenly appeared out of thin air.
