Chapter 57: The Buddha Said

  Chapter 57: The Buddha Said

The night train was a bit dim, and Yang Tian and Chu Ping took this train and set off on their return journey!

Although reluctant to part, it is inevitable to have a farewell.

Chu Ping was quite satisfied with Tian Hai and his group!

In Tianhai City, I assisted for three nights. On the first night, on the waves, I welcomed Oda Kogoro and witnessed the power of the soaring snake, almost losing my life at his hands! On the second night, I had a great battle with Lü Fengxian, also narrowly escaping death! On the third night, I encountered Mo Yingmen Sun Boji again, but gained not a small harvest!

Got many crystal stones, and there's even a suit of magic armor!

After the matter of Chu Ping, he had studied that magic armor and found it to be an extremely powerful magical instrument, only sealed away. Sun Boji didn't know where it came from either. With his cultivation at the level of Detached Spirit Transformation, he could only break through the first layer and barely use it!

Last night returned to the hotel, slept a good sleep, today finally had nothing to do, followed Weiqing and others to stroll around Tianhai City for a day, very satisfied in my heart!

Yang Tian beside me is drowsy and leaning against the back of his seat, listless.

Tianhai Park and Seaside Plaza, after a long walk, I am really very tired.

On the evening train, there were mostly middle-aged people, all of whom were dozing off. Chu Ping, naturally not feeling tired, held a Buddhist scripture in his hand and flipped through it leisurely.

The cultivation has reached the realm of Vajra, and the next realm is the Prajna realm, which emphasizes wisdom and spiritual understanding. However, it is a difficult barrier to break through.

The four realms of the Temple of Non-Duality, the first two realms can be broken through with diligent practice, generally anyone can break through, countless people are stuck in front of the Prajna realm, unable to shatter the mirror and end up mediocre for life.

The great way is lost, the spirit and body are refined, the diamond realm after all still has shape and form, the path of condensing the physical body, but the comprehension has already reached a state of enlightenment and clarity in the heart, elusive and intangible.

With the support of the powerful yuan force in Yutai, Chu Ping broke through the first two realms in just two short years. However, this third realm is not much related to the accumulation of fa li, but rather emphasizes a kind of enlightenment. Even though Chu Ping has read countless ancient books and classics over the years, he still can't find any clues.

I also know in my heart that when it comes to cultivating the truth, if you want to rush through it, you won't be able to achieve it. What's left is for me to slowly accumulate and comprehend, and only by doing so can I have a breakthrough!

The Buddha spoke of the eight sufferings, which are the fruits received by all living beings in the six paths of reincarnation: birth, aging, illness, death, separation from loved ones, encounter with enemies, unfulfilled desires, and the flourishing of the five skandhas. Even if one transcends them, they cannot be avoided. Only when the mind is unobstructed can there be no suffering. If one knows that all phenomena are impermanent and all dharmas have no self, then one can attain nirvana's quietude. When the body is like diamond and the mind is like prajna, this is called paramita, which reaches the realm of liberation where there is neither birth nor death, and both body and mind are quiet!

This is a general discussion about Buddhist meditation, Chu Ping read it and deeply agreed with it.

"The first realm of Wúxiāng Temple is to observe and contemplate, it is necessary for the practitioners to understand that all phenomena are illusory. A single thought in one's mind can give rise to a vast universe. All worldly things are constantly changing and flowing away in an instant, none remain permanent and unchanging. If one clings to them as real, then false thoughts arise. Only when there is no self and no possessions, can the true self be found. The true nature of my mind is the pure and calm mind of Nirvana!"

At this point, Chu Ping's eyes showed a few points of confusion, and she couldn't help but raise her right hand to touch her cheek, not quite accepting the idea that all laws are empty!

"Let him go, for he does not know the complexity of human life and the turmoil of the world. How can he understand that all phenomena are impermanent and empty? Just because one understands something doesn't mean they can accept it! To truly comprehend and integrate, one's heart must be full and complete, only then can things fall into place naturally. Forcing oneself to read scriptures is like pulling up seedlings to help them grow - it's harmful and useless!"

Chu Ping relaxed his mind, let out a long sigh, and looked up to see that the person sitting across from him had changed into a young and beautiful girl. She had curly hair down her shoulders, skin as white as snow, and was quietly sitting there with an air of calmness like water. In front of her was placed a notebook, and earplugs were stuck in her ears, as if she was reading something.

As if sensing Chu Ping's gaze, the girl raised her head, her eyes sparkling like a pool of autumn water, sweeping over the book in Chu Ping's hand, and suddenly removed her earphones, saying softly, "Reading Buddhist scriptures?"

Its sound is like a gentle breeze stroking the leaves, making people feel refreshed and invigorated, with a comfortable and relaxed mind.

On this dull and oppressive deep night train, a quiet and beautiful girl suddenly appeared, sitting there like a painting, giving people a kind of dreamy and ethereal feeling.

Chu Ping was slightly distracted and only reacted when he heard the other person's question. He smiled and said, "Just bored!"

The girl gently brushed aside a strand of hair in front of her forehead, smiled and said, "Yes, the evening train is like that, making people feel depressed and suffocated everywhere!"

After finishing speaking, he suddenly stretched out his hand again, with slender fingers as white as jade, "Can you let me take a look?"

Chu Ping stretched out his hand and handed it over, "Of course."

That book was also found in the temple, which tells some basic principles of Buddhist practice, and it's quite obscure. Chu Ping looked at it all blurry and confused.

The girl slightly turned over and smiled, saying, "All phenomena are impermanent, all dharmas have no self, Nirvana is quiet, this includes the essence of Buddhism."

Chu Ping was slightly surprised, "Have you done research?"

"It's not about studying, just being curious. Everything is impermanent, so we should be at ease in any situation. All phenomena are empty of self, and when we realize the illusory nature of dependent origination, this body becomes empty too. Once we understand these things, we won't worry about gain or loss, let go of thoughts, and be carefree. Our bodies and minds will transcend, free from delusions, and clearly see our true selves - that's Nirvana!"

Chu Ping smiled and said, "Then have you put it down?"

Knowing is one thing, but doing it is another. You understand, but isn't there still a hint of stubbornness in your eyes!

Chu Ping found the girl's words interesting and reasonable, so he became interested in talking to her. Smiling, he asked, "In Journey to the West, there is a passage from the Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra translated by Xuanzang. How do you interpret it?"

That girl's face showed a sly smile, "If you seek me with form, if you seek me with sound, you will not see the Tathagata!"

Chu Ping burst out laughing, "The Hinayana breaks my attachment and proves my emptiness. The Mahayana breaks the attachment to Dharma and proves the emptiness of Dharma. It seems I'm better off practicing Hinayana!"

The girl smiled, "All things arise from emptiness, and all are but illusions. The Buddha breaks through delusions and wrong views, breaks through superstition and establishes right faith, breaks through evil actions and establishes right actions, breaks through false perceptions and establishes true perception. All sentient beings possess the nature of Buddhahood, and everyone can become a Buddha!"

"Never mind, never mind, if I say more, it will be an obstacle."

The girl stretched out her hand, "Hello, I'm Xu Jing. I didn't expect to meet someone who understands Buddhism on the bus."

Chu Ping stretched out his hand and shook it, but felt that the slender jade-like hand was soft and boneless. "My name is Chu Ping, you're the one who surprises me!"

The two of them put aside their previous topic and started talking about other interesting gossip, Chu Ping felt that Xu Jing's words were wise and clever, and could lead the conversation, and before he knew it, they had already walked a long way.

As dawn broke, the train had already arrived at Jiangbei City, waking up Yang Tian. He bid farewell to Xu Jing and the two rushed back to school together.

Back in school, life returned to its previous dullness, attending classes, sleeping and eating, cultivating every day, practicing internal energy every day, it was indeed dry.

Time flies, and summer vacation is approaching. The weather has become dry and sweltering, people's minds are restless.

"Hey, Xiaoping, are you going to have fun during the summer vacation?" Liu Qiang, who was always enthusiastic about various activities in the dormitory, leaned over and asked in a low voice, as if he was revealing a secret.

"What are you playing?" Chu Ping turned his head and saw Liu Qiang's excited expression, asking curiously.

"Hey, there's an activity in our class during summer vacation, going out for sightseeing and tourism. Whether to go or not is completely voluntary."

"Where is it?" Chu Ping was also quite interested.

"Tang Lao Er isn't from Yunnan or Guizhou, is he? His home is in the mountains, and I've heard that next to it are deep mountains and ancient forests, which has piqued many people's interest."

  "Alright, count me in."

"Alright, get ready for the time being, bring some clothes and stuff. There are about a dozen people, it's good that it's summer, accommodation is easy." Liu Qiang's face was filled with a hint of longing expression, and he muttered in a pretentious low voice, "Yun-Gui old forest, towering ancient trees, wait for me!"

Chu Ping smiled slightly and became more interested in this trip.

The final exam, once again a routine, everyone was busy and finally settled on twelve people, including Tang Guangbo, and boarded the train to the south with great fanfare!

After taking the train for two days, the twelve people were all somewhat dispirited. Upon arrival at the station, they transferred to a bus and finally had to walk on a rugged mountain road, which made everyone shout in dismay!

"This place is too scamming, what year is it now, and they still don't fix the road! Haven't you heard that to get rich, one must first fix the road? They don't even fix the road, how can we achieve common prosperity and catch up with developed countries!" The complainer is still Liu Qiang.

Chu Ping smiled slightly beside him, "Old Five, your spirit is still good enough, your voice is still so loud, and you don't even forget to care about socialism at this time. Your realm is really high!"

Among the twelve people, there were exactly six males and six females. It had to be said that on this winding mountain road, most of the large and small bags were handed over to the boys to take care of.

Female classmates can go shopping for several days without getting tired, but when it comes to rushing on the road, they really don't dare to flatter themselves!

A group of people walked and stopped, walking for more than half an hour, finally reaching their destination!
