Volume 1: Southern Border Chapter 9: Treading on Thorny Grass
In the deepest part of his mind, a unbelievable scene vaguely emerged, but he had already fallen into a coma. He could only gaze quietly at everything in front of him, like a dream in the south, unable to utter any words or make any movements.
This feeling was so strange and bizarre that it stunned him all at once.
Look at a mountain as a mountain, look at water as water. Look at a mountain not as a mountain, look at water not as water. Look at a mountain again as a mountain, look at water again as water.
Just like Zhuangzi dreaming of a butterfly, it is unknown whether Zhuangzi dreamed he was a butterfly or the butterfly dreamed it was Zhuangzi. "Heaven and earth were born at the same time as me, and all things are one with me." At this moment, Wen Ya seems to have fallen into a spiritual state of 'forgetting both objects and self, and uniting heaven and man'.
Return to simplicity, transcend worldly dust, and all things are infinite with me!
In the vast and endless void, a quiet and peaceful atmosphere prevails, as if it were the dawn of creation, boundless and infinite.
Wen Ya's spiritual will then entered an unprecedented, wonderful and unimaginable sensory world, as if he had completely merged with the heaven and earth in front of him.
Gradually, Wen Ya's heart became as calm as water, slowly casting aside the distracting thoughts in her mind and relaxing...
At this moment, in a corner of Wen Ya's consciousness space, a mysterious light flashed by. A book as light as a goose feather, square and strange, quietly floated in his mind, as if it had existed for billions of years...
Not bad, that's really a scripture! Wen Ya was immediately attracted to all the attention, and when he focused his attention again.
That scroll, smooth as jade and with a surface that was constantly emitting colorful, swirling patterns, suddenly appeared before him.
Wen Ya was shocked in his heart, staring blankly at the mysterious scroll that seemed to be carved out of the purest white jade, with waves surging, he felt as if he had touched a wonderful and great existence in this instant, and his whole soul trembled uncontrollably.
He tried to focus his attention, ... Gradually, the mysterious and ancient symbols on the surface of the divine scroll slowly emerged in his mind, emitting a wild and primitive aura.
The General Outline of the Mahayana Scripture on the Lotus Flower of the Wonderful Dharma
Wen Ya's soul, at this moment without desires or demands, passively watching everything in front of her, this is truly an incredibly wonderful feeling!
"What is this!"
At the thought, the "Ri Cao Pan Jia Mo He Ji Zhao Zhou Gang" seemed to unfold like a silk scroll, slowly spreading out in the rippling waves.
The scroll unfolded its original appearance bit by bit, about four feet long and wide, thin as a cicada's wing, square in shape, like a traditional Chinese painting.
The top is densely packed with all sorts of different symbols and patterns, although they are as small as fly heads, the strokes are tiny, but they are as clear as if carved with a knife.
Each seal and pattern is unique, strange and extraordinary, with the rugged skeleton of mountains, the gentle softness of water, and various abstract symbols of natural phenomena such as wind, rain, thunder and lightning, all of which are unprecedented and unheard of.
The font and graphics seem to have a kind of profound and mysterious spiritual power that penetrates the soul, filled with an ancient, wild, and mysterious aura.
"Hesitant and dim, yet within it there is an image; dim and hesitant, yet within it there is a thing. Deep and obscure, yet within it there is a spirit, its spirit very true, within it there is faith..."
"In the ancient past, when there was no heaven and earth, there was only the image of nothingness. ... Chaos gave birth to it, through the heavens and the earth... , and thus it separated into yin and yang, and divided into eight extremes. Hardness and softness complemented each other, and all things took shape."
"The essence of all things is life. Below it gives birth to the five grains, above it forms the arrayed stars, flowing between heaven and earth, it is called ghostly spirits; stored within the breast, it is called a sage..."
"The spirit is what one receives from Heaven, while the physical body is what one inherits from Earth."
"In unity with Heaven. Heaven and Earth are the father and mother of all things. When they come together, a body is formed; when they separate, a beginning is made. The form and spirit do not decay, this is called being able to transform, returning to be in harmony with Heaven."
……
There are 365 different symbols in total, vaguely visible, those oracle bone inscriptions suddenly appear one by one in the deepest part of Wen Ya's soul.
One by one, golden lights flashed, emitting a vague and desolate atmosphere, flowing through his heart like a gentle stream.
Then, an indescribable wonderful feeling filled Wenya's heart deeply.
In a daze, in the most central area where his spirit and soul condensed, all the talismanic texts merged together in an instant, forming a mysterious symbol that cannot be described by any language or method.
A symbol representing the universe, representing the infinite space and time of ancient and modern times.
At the same time, the four-foot-long and wide, thin as a cicada's wing "Ri Qi Pan Jie Mo He Jia Zhuo Zhou Gang" also turned to the end, and the last picture was completely mapped in Wen Ya's mind.
"In ancient times, there were extraordinary people who emerged from the heavens and earth. They were skilled at wielding great power, capable of lifting mountains and filling oceans, shifting the sun and moon. Every hair on their body corresponded to a celestial phenomenon, every pore was like a star in the universe, constantly changing and flowing. They could communicate with heaven and earth, gather with ghosts and spirits. Their power was vast, but because they lived far from human society, hiding in remote wilderness, people called them 'Wu'."
——
In a tranquil void, a colossal and terrifying demon god stands upright, its entire body stark naked!
The demon god's body was so enormous, a million feet tall, standing there like a heavenly pillar that separated the earth and the void, blocking out the sky and sun, with an incomparable terror, as if a tsunami crashing down from the heavens, its roar thundering forth.
A head of fiery red hair, with layer upon layer of black flames dancing and changing outside his body, soaring to the sky and burning fiercely, transforming into various forms of anger, majesty, gentleness, ferocity, and determination..., revealing a dignified and elusive true nature.
Face blurry and indistinct, amidst a body of fiery light that flickers in and out of sight, unable to be seen clearly, transforming without bounds.
A fiery red flame surges, the demon god with one face and eight arms, steps on two dragons, his left foot slightly raised, making a gesture of stepping into the void. The central hands stretch out to the middle finger, ring finger, and little finger, then use the thumb to press down on the pinky, crossing both hands in front of the chest, forming the three-worlds mudra that represents subjugation of past, present, and future.
The six things held in his hands are a sword, spear, staff, rope, bow and arrow.
Its entire body is emitting a hazy seven-colored divine light, with 365 sun, moon and star rotating around it, vaguely condensing into 365 different mysterious talismans, which then disappear without a trace.
Looking at the magic god's appearance in front of him, Wen Ya's heart was thoroughly shocked. Although this image did not have a real flesh and blood body, it seemed to be in a mysterious state at all times, with every breath being born and dying endlessly, like an existence that had its own heaven and earth.
Having a dominant power over now, past and future, invincible in the vast universe.
In heaven and on earth, I alone am supreme!
